Wallly,jr read Matthew's Biblical account of our Savior's birth in Bethlehem and a question and answer time afterward proved the kids did listen and internalize the story.
As the kids did a creative activity drawing their favorite part of the Christmas story, families stepped across the hallway where Santa Claus [aka Wallace Larson,Sr] waited for families to have their photo taken as a remembrance of the event. The youngest to the oldest waited their turn to share their Christmas wish list.
From grandmothers to toddlers, the pinata was the favorite and everybody knew the unwritten rules as they shouted instructions to each other if anyone sensed an infringement.
No Grinch here at the Salvation Army on Christmas Eve morning. It was a Merry Christmas to all and God Bless everyone.
